This is not a rip-and-replace comparison. Most OptInFix customers keep sending through Twilio (directly or via a platform built on it). The question this page answers is what Twilio's Trust Hub actually covers, and what a TCPA demand letter expects that Twilio never stores: the disclosure your subscriber saw, the act they performed, and tamper-evident records of both.

Frequently asked questions
Does Twilio store TCPA consent proof?+
No. Twilio enforces carrier registration (Trust Hub, A2P campaigns) and processes STOP keywords, but it does not capture or retain evidence that a recipient consented — the disclosure shown, the checkbox state, or the session. That responsibility sits entirely with the sender.
Do I need OptInFix if I already completed Twilio A2P registration?+
Registration solves carrier deliverability, not TCPA liability. A registered campaign can still text unconsented numbers. OptInFix supplies the consent capture and per-recipient evidence that registration assumes you already have.
Can OptInFix provide the opt-in URL Twilio campaign review asks for?+
Yes. Every OptInFix brand gets a hosted, publicly accessible consent page with the full CTIA disclosure set — built to pass the opt-in evidence review that causes most campaign rejections.
Does OptInFix replace Twilio?+
No. OptInFix does not send messages. It captures consent, stores hash-locked evidence, and exports suppression lists. Most customers run OptInFix in front of Twilio or a Twilio-based platform.
What happens in a TCPA dispute if my only records are in Twilio?+
Twilio logs show messages sent and STOP replies received — useful, but they say nothing about consent before the first send. Without capture-time evidence, the dispute becomes your word against the plaintiff's, which is the posture that settles.
